Thibodaux is host to a wide variety of events, including school sports, conventions, trade shows, fairs and festivals. We're especially proud to annually host the Manning Football Camp and "Biddy" Basketball World tournament. These events bring in thousands of visitors from all around the country and give Thibodaux great exposure. The fact that they continue to return is a testament to the hard working organizers and to our whole city. General info: Thibodaux is our city in and the parish seat of Lafourche Parish, Louisiana, located along the banks of Bayou Lafourche in the northwestern part of the parish. The population was 14,567 at the 2010 census. Some local points of interest worth visiting include the Jean Lafitte National Park - Wetlands Acadian Culture Center, Laurel Valley Plantation, Rienzi Plantation House, E.D. White Plantation, Bayou Children's Museum all within just minutes from our historic downtown where you can take a leisurely stroll across approximately five square blocks of our local shops, restaurants, and businesses and feel like you've been transported back in time.
